Class Info

Class Levels:  Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Session

Tots I Combo Class: Ages 2 to 3

  • Ballet, Tap, & Acro combo intro class.
  • 45 minutes of class each week, introduction to the basic fundamentals of dance. 
  • $30/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $220. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $280.
  • Required Shoes: Pink ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys) and black tap shoes.

Tots II Combo Class: Ages 3 to 5

  • Ballet, Tap, & Acro combo intro class.
  • 1 hour of class each week, introduction to the basic fundamentals of dance. 
  • $35/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $260. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $320.
  • Required Shoes: Pink ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys)and black tap shoes.

Beginner Combo Class: Ages 5 to 6

  • Ballet, Tap, & Jazz/Acro combo class.
  • 1 hour and 15 minutes of class each week, focusing on reviewing and expanding upon the fundamentals of ballet, tap, and jazz/acro technique.
  • $45/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $340. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $400.
  • Required Shoes: Pink ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys) and black tap shoes.

Pre-Intermediate Technique Class: Ages 7 to 9

  • Ballet, Tap & Jazz technique class, total of 1 hour and 30 minutes of class each week.
  • $50/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $380. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $440.
  • Required Shoes: Pink ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys) and black lace up tap shoes (see TDC Staff for specific styles and brands).

Intermediate Technique Class: Ages 9 to 11

  • Ballet, Tap & Jazz technique class, total of 2 hours of class each week.
  • $55/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $420. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $480.
  • Required Shoes: Pink canvas ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys), skin tone jazz shoes, and black lace-up tap shoes (see TDC Staff for specific styles and brands).
  • Attire: Leotard required for all girls in ballet class. Tights optional/recommended, dancers may wear spandex shorts or ballet skirts as well during ballet. Shorts, leggings, and t-shirts may be worn during jazz and tap. Boys should wear form fitting shirts, no baggy sweatpants. 

Advanced Technique Class: Ages 11+, Age 11 by teacher recommendation only 

  • Ballet, Tap & Jazz technique class, total of 2 hours and 30 minutes of class each week.
  • Class for 2 hours and 30 minutes/week is $65/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $500. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $560.
  • Required Shoes: Pink canvas ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys), skin tone jazz shoes, and black lace-up tap shoes (see TDC Staff for specific styles and brands).
  • Attire: Leotard required for all girls in ballet class. Tights optional/recommended, dancers may wear spandex shorts or ballet skirts as well during ballet. Shorts, leggings, and t-shirts may be worn during jazz and tap. Boys should wear form fitting shirts, no baggy sweatpants. 

Acro Class: Ages 6+

  • 45 minutes of class each week. Acro class will not have a recital dance.
  • $30/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $220. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $280.
  • Required Shoes: None. Socks and footed tights are not permitted to be worn in acro class.

Hip Hop Class: Ages 9+

  • 1 hour of class each week. Hip Hop class will have a recital dance.
  • $35/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $260. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $320.
  • Required Shoes: Gym Shoes

Ballet Class: Ages 9+

  • 2 hours of additional ballet class geared towards dancers en pointe, pre-pointe, or those looking to advance their ballet technique. Friday ballet class will not have a recital dance.
  • $55/month for 8 months or can be paid in full in the first month for a discounted price of $420. If payment is not made monthly or in full in the first month of classes, the total cost of the session is $480.
  • Required Shoes: Pink canvas ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys). Pointe shoes must be approved by Miss Cassidy prior to purchase/fitting and are not permitted for students under age 12.
  • Attire: Leotard required for all girls. Tights optional/recommended.  Dancers may wear spandex shorts or ballet skirts. Boys should wear form fitting shirts, no baggy sweatpants.

Open Class: Ages Vary by week

  • Rotating 1 hour weekly drop-in class. Open class will not have a recital dance.
  • 1st Friday of Every Month: Adult Class, Ages 16+. No dance experience required.
    2nd Friday of Every Month: Leaps & Turns, Ages 7+
    3rd Friday of Every Month: Strength & Alignment, Ages 7 to Adult. 30 foot super heavy silver therabands recommended for class, but not required.
    4th Friday of Every Month: Combo Class, Ages 10 to Adult. Dance experience required, Intermediate/Advanced Level.
  • Schedule subject to change. Class schedule for each month will be released at the end of the month prior.
  • Included in the Unlimited Class Pass or pay per class at a rate of $10/class.

Calendar

Our fall-spring session runs mid-September through mid-May with a week break over Thanksgiving and two week break for the Christmas holiday season.

Registration
Registration for our fall-spring session starts in August each year. Email technicaldancecenter@gmail.com with any questions.

Recital

Each dance year is wrapped up with 2 shows at the TDC Spring recital. There is a $75 recital fee per family due May 1st. This fee ensures the coverage of the cost of the school facilities for our recital.  Upon payment of this fee, each family will be given 2 adult and 2 child wristbands which gives access to both shows. A digital download of our recital is also included in this fee. Accounts must be current in order for dancers to participate in the recital.

Summer Session
Summer classes run from mid June to early August each year. Summer classes are optional for recreational students and mandatory for competition team members.
